It taunts you.
It laughs at you.
It knows you.
It's ... your stupid closet.
Scenario:
The husband: You disappeared. What have you been doing in the closet?
Me: Cleaning it. Organizing. This time for real.
The husband: Isn't that like the 6th time in the past 2-3 months.
Me: Yes. Your point?
I don't know about you, but it's my nemesis. The intent is to throw out anything that I haven't worn, used or thought about in the past 9 months to a year. But somehow, I go in there and get all sentimental and shit and think that the 80s or 90s are going to invite me to a party and I'll have nothing to wear! Not to mention the entire set of clothes that I need when I change sizes during the holidays, in the spring, in the summer...oh, all the flippin' time.
So I don't clean out -- I basically re-arrange and accomplish nothing. Clearly I haven't found my closet zen yet.
Zenitude for today:
The 80s or 90s will not be calling us. Get rid of stuff in our closets!
